Mint turning one month!

Her signature "Miss ohhhh" expression!

Her tongue is super long. :P

Her "miss ohhhh" expression again.

Ah yi with mint during full-month party

Daddy with mint

Her "very surprise" expression.

Mint is getting cuter day by day. Love her big eyes and her signature "Miss Ohhhh" expression. From getting used of waking up in late night to feed her till knowing wat her cries are for. There's only 3 things that she will scream. Only when she is hungry, time to change her diapers, or she is bored! ha. so quite easy to manage. All those doubts of being a mother is all gone now. :) I am happy i made the decision of bringing her to this world. Only her, makes my life complete. Being busy taking lots of pictures of her. Documenting her daily changes. Sometimes, i do wish she will never grow up and stay that little and petite. :) Enjoy the photos i took for her throughout the month. :)

Baby Mint

I had delivered on the 9th of Nov through C-section epidural. Baby weighing 4.75kg. My doctor called her a "mini sumo wrestler!" She look like a full month baby even though she is a newborn! i believe i will have my arm weight training soon. I had so many sleepless nights and got to wake up 3 hour interval to feed baby. :S But i guess its worth it when i see her smile. :)

Coming to the end of my pregnancy

I am going to my Csection in 12 hours time. Baby mint is weighing ard 4.3kg. i am so excited and nervous. counting down to the hours now. cant sleep at all. Tummy having painful stretch marks that are unbearable.

Feeling a bit worried too. Staring at the empty baby cot and made me doubting myself (again) of being a mother after tonight. Can i handle it? wat will i do if i cant provide my little one a good healthy living environment? I believe i got to sway away from all these tots and embark in a positive belief with my girl. Be positive. Believe in god. Have faith.

Now i am making sure i didnt miss out any important things such as doing the laundry, packing those items for bfeeding etc.... also busy cleaning my house cos i am sure this weekend my house will be crowded with my relative and friends. cant wait to see my baby mint and nervous cos first time csection, dun know wat to expect. managing the pain from the wound?

hmmm. how does my mint look like? hopefully she dun have my nose and my hubby's sausage lips.

My tummy @ week 26

Sorry, this post comes a bit late. I snapped this picture when i am in my 26 weeks. And now, I am approaching my 30th week. The way i feel the kicks and stretches from sweetie also changes every week. From small tickles to a smooth sway either left or right of tummy. Kind of interesting.... Now already counting down to the day when i can see sweetie, really wonder how she looks like. Wanna whisper to her that i bought so many pretty things for her. :) Also getting panicked that i heaven got her a name. hmmm. still thinking..... sigh, so many choices in life.

After the "not-so-my-wedding" wedding, it's time to focus on my pregnancy progress. Went for the detailed scan, everything went well. And it's a baby girl!! Not much change yet, tummy still growing slowly with the overdose of shea butter cream every night. I've been imagining myself what kind of mummy i will be when she arrives. How will my little one look like etc. Too many questions and curiouscity for myself...

By the way, i told myself to get a first gift for my little girl and i got her a pair of shoes!!

Marriage is happy. But yet not so happy.

Recently been busying with my wedding preparation. Din know its kind of troublesome and hassle to get things organise. Used to dream alot of having just a simple tea buffet and sweet moments with "him", designing our own invitations, baking those lovely cupcakes for friends. So much fun right? But now, its a TOTALLY different story. My wedding will be held in a "super" chinese restaurant, using pre-printed invite cards, going through traditional custom. That's not bad enough. Now, i got to have more patience towards parents at both sides. I have a weird perception on marriage. To me, its kind of a strict commitment. All of the sudden having an "extra" parents you got to take care of. Handful of responsiblities rolling in. I'm still struggling hard to accept the fact that i am going to call "them" my parents. I know i shouldn't think this way but i swear i do have to pull my hair sometimes to straighten my thoughts. Let's hope things will get better as time goes by.

By the way, good things must share. Happen to come across this lovely website for expecting mothers. you can customise tickers for your baby in your blog!! See, i made one for my little Junior. You can even have them in Facebook too!!

I am going to be a mummy.

Everyone know...(not everyone know yet, hee hee) that i am going to be a mummy soon. For your info, I am 14 weeks pregnant and already counting down the weeks i left. Of cos, a lot of "surprises" will be coming along the way, like seeing your tummy gets bigger and bigger, more rashes wil be appearing on my neck due to the horomones change. But I still feel happy and exciting to know the gender of my baby. :)
